Year-End Greetings 2018 by our CEO Julia Bicher

As we are heading towards the end of 2018, it’s good to look ahead and think about what the new year may unveil.

But first, let’s take a quick look back. 2018 was quite a year for all of us at Congrex Switzerland. It was my first year as CEO of the company and it was one of the most interesting years of my life. I have learnt tremendously and we have been through many developments.

I would like to start with a huge thank you to all my colleagues – Thank you for all your wonderful contributions towards the growth and success of our company. We strive to put our clients at the heart of everything we do and we sincerely would like to thank all our clients, the many long-term and new clients we have, for their trust, their support and their excellent cooperation with us.

Of course, there is always a lot of work ahead and I do have a wish list for Santa Claus, which I would like to share with you:

I wish for a team that continues to embrace change. With digitalization changing our work, this is so important. The Dalai Lama once said, “The greatest gift you can give a child is to prepare him for great change”. The road of transforming a company can be rocky, but I am confident that our team will be ready to embrace all the upcoming challenges and to adapt quickly.

All our staff love what they are doing and our clients can feel that in every interaction. I wish that we continue to be challenged and fulfilled colleagues striving for customer service at its best.  I

Why do I focus so much on the team? Because I believe in Richard Branson’s saying “If you take care of your employees, they will take care of the clients.” And happy clients are our ultimate goal.

I wish you and your families a joyous, peaceful and restful festive season and all the best for the New Year 2019.
