We greatly appreciate the many years of cooperation and partnership with the Swiss Society of General Internal Medicine SGAIM and are delighted that we were once again able to support them at their spring congress 2018, May 30 – June 1 in Basel. With over 7’000 members, SGAIM is the largest medical association in Switzerland and unites physicians who work both in outpatient and inpatient.
In 1984, we supported SGAIM for the first time in organising its annual congress. This has resulted in a long-standing partnership. The challenge here is to meet the high expectations of the client and to continue the successes of previous years. Our aim this year was to enable a particularly smooth and fast registration process for the participants.
HOW CONGREX MASTERED IT
The customised online registration was set up in two languages (German and French) and contained over 100 different courses for which the participants could register. When the participants arrived on-site, selfprint stations were ready for them to scan their e-confirmation on smartphones / tablets or their paper confirmation. After obtaining the badge they moved to the congress material counter. Not registered participants went to the dedicated self registration area. Every delegate could also register via mobile device at any time 24/7. Session access was controlled electronically with the use of a barcode on the badge of each participant. At the end, the CME certificates could be printed on-site by scanning the barcode. A dedicated team was on-site to help with any questions or problems regarding the registration.
The SGAIM Autumn Conference will take place in Montreux, 21 – 22 September 2018. We are happy to support the SGAIM again in this task. See you there!
