BASEL LIFE 2018
BASEL LIFE is Europe’s leading congress in the Life Sciences, a showcase for the latest developments in science and technology. The event is held in Basel, a city at the heart of Europe’s Life Sciences community. This year, this very successful event was held from 11 to 14 September, welcoming over two-thousand participants.
How to Organise Four Conferences Under One Roof: BASEL LIFE is one conference which consists of four different events, or pillars:
- A Conference for Basic Research (EMBO)
- Forums for Applied Research and Development (Innovation Forums)
- An exhibition showcasing state-of-the art technology (MipTec)
- A recruitment event for Life Sciences companies (Job Fair)
These four separate events required particular attention and had to be handled individually. At the same time, we wanted to create a unified congress atmosphere.
How Congrex mastered it
To handle such a broad range of subjects we drew up a detailed 4-in-1 concept with customised solutions for each area. A professional and versatile team made this possible. Our staff worked quickly and flexibly, and always with a positive attitude. Within the four events we were able to accommodate different participant needs. The interaction between these elements led to fruitful exchanges between the delegates and unique networking opportunities.
