Last week, Congrex Switzerland hosted its Internal Open Office Week, bringing colleagues together to learn more about the work, responsibilities, and challenges of teams across the organisation.
Throughout the week, departments opened their doors and shared insights into their processes, workflows, and day-to-day activities. The initiative aimed to strengthen cross-department understanding, encourage collaboration, and create greater awareness of how individual teams contribute to the success of Congrex and its clients.
Even among colleagues who have worked together for many years, the sessions revealed new perspectives and highlighted how interconnected our work truly is. Participants gained a better understanding of the dependencies, challenges, and opportunities that shape collaboration across the company.
Beyond the professional insights, the week also proved to be an excellent team-building experience. Open discussions, shared experiences, and plenty of laughter helped strengthen personal connections and reinforce the collaborative culture that defines Congrex.
The Open Office Week reflects the values that guide our organisation every day, including Team Spirit, Care, Reliability, Progress Spirit, and Customer Service. By learning from one another and sharing knowledge openly, we continue to improve the way we work together and the service we provide to our clients and scientific communities.
As our CEO Julia Bicher noted during the week, creating powerful connections starts within our own organisation. The Open Office Week demonstrated that stronger internal collaboration ultimately leads to stronger outcomes for our clients, partners, and stakeholders.
