The Congrex Summer Party 2026 brought our team together for a relaxed summer evening filled with good food, fun, laughter and plenty of dancing. A great opportunity to connect outside the office, discover new sides of one another and create shared memories as a team.
This summer, it was once again time for the Congrex team to get together for our annual summer party. Inspired by our company motto, “No Limits with Congrex – Together Beyond Boundaries,” the theme of the evening was “Beyond Borders”. It took us on a journey away from everyday office life while celebrating the different cultures, personalities and talents within our team.
Ready for Take-Off
The holiday feeling started right at the entrance, where our very own “airport traffic control” showed everyone the way. With boarding passes checked and flower necklaces handed out, everyone was ready for take-off.
The evening started with drinks and snacks before our captain and crew officially welcomed everyone on board.
Discovering the talents within our team
One of the ideas behind the evening was to give team members an opportunity to share something about themselves that colleagues might not normally see during the working day.
During the Congrex Talent Show, employees had the chance to sing, dance, play an instrument, perform a magic trick or showcase another special talent, either individually or as part of a team. The “Beyond Borders” theme added an airport, travel or international element to the performances.
Activities like this are a wonderful reminder that every team is made up of people with interests, skills and stories extending far beyond their professional roles.
Creating space for these talents helps colleagues get to know one another from a completely different perspective.
Crossing Borders Through Food
Food has a special way of bringing people and cultures together, which inspired our Mystery tasting challenge.
Team members were invited to bring a food or drink connected to their country or culture. The items were tasted without knowing what they were, encouraging everyone to guess the ingredients and their country of origin.
The challenge introduced us to new flavours while creating plenty of conversation, curiosity and delicious surprises. It was a simple but meaningful way to celebrate the cultural diversity within our team and learn more about one another.
A delicious dinner, entertaining activities, relaxed conversations and plenty of dancing followed.
It was a great opportunity to spend time together outside the office, catch up with colleagues and enjoy a memorable summer evening as a team.
Events like this show how a shared theme and a few creative activities can turn a company celebration into a meaningful team experience. By inviting employees to contribute their cultures, personalities and talents, organisations can create events that feel more personal, inclusive and memorable.
