Congrex Switzerland supported the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna with professional accommodation management, coordinating more than 20,000 room nights for delegations, sponsors, crew members, media representatives and other stakeholders. Following its successful involvement in the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Basel, Congrex was once again entrusted with managing complex hotel requirements for one of Europe’s most iconic live events.
Accommodation Management for the Eurovision Song Contest 2026
Following our successful involvement in the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Basel, Congrex Switzerland was once again entrusted with the accommodation management for one of Europe’s most iconic live events, this time in Vienna.
Building on the experience gained in Basel, our Accommodation & Travel team coordinated hotel bookings and supported a wide range of stakeholders, helping to ensure a smooth and seamless operation behind the scenes. The European Broadcasting Union (EBU), delegations, sponsors, crew members and media representatives from across the globe all had different needs and expectations. Meeting them required the same combination of structure, flexibility and service excellence that defines our approach to accommodation management.
Managing More Than 20,000 Room Nights in Vienna
Over the course of the project, our team coordinated more than 20’000 room nights, ensuring a seamless accommodation experience for guests from around the world. From managing room allocations and responding to last-minute changes to maintaining close collaboration with local partners, every detail mattered.
Reflecting on the project, Silvia Agster, Chief Operations & Services Officer at Congrex Switzerland, says:
“Supporting the Eurovision Song Contest for a second time was a very special experience for our team. Managing accommodation for such a large-scale event is always demanding, but also incredibly rewarding. I’m especially proud of how our team collaborated, supported one another and remained focused on delivering outstanding service to our guests throughout the project.”
Silvia Agster, Chief Operations & Services Officer
Being entrusted with this responsibility once again was both an honour and a reflection of the trust placed in our team. Looking back, what stands out most is the dedication, professionalism and collaborative spirit that made it all possible.
For Congrex Switzerland, the project once again demonstrated how structured accommodation management, flexibility and service excellence can support the smooth delivery of complex international live events.
