Tumortage 2020
The 2020 edition of Tumortage took place on 7 & 8 February 2020 in the Swiss city of Winterthur. This two-day in-person meeting is a leading event for attendees who are not part of the medical profession, such as relatives of cancer patients, carers, and patients themselves, who have an interest in the field of malignant tumour diagnosis, management, treatment, and aftercare.
In 2020, Tumortage took place in Winterthur Kanton Hospital and was attended by 240 attendees.
The congress 13th edition was a great success thanks to its varied research-based programme that included discussions, lectures, workshops, and Q&A sessions. This highly interactive programme was effective in providing patients and interested with opportunities to exchange experiences and gain insights into their specialism.
Congrex Switzerland was responsible for assisting our client, the prestigious Tumour Centre at Winterthur Kanton Hospital, which is one of the largest hospitals in Switzerland. To organise this two-day congress, our team liaised with the organiser and with important collaborating organisations, such as the Zurich Cancer League, the ZeTup Tumour and Breast Center, and regional medical centres in Schaffhausen and Bülach.
