ESVS 2020
The annual meeting of the European Society for Vascular Surgery was held between 29 September and 2 October 2020. Due to travel restrictions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, the organiser made the decision to deliver this event in a virtual setting.
Congrex had the privilege of assisting our client, the European Society for Vascular Surgery, organise the 34th edition of this annual meeting and rise to the challenge of delivering complex medical knowledge in a virtual format. Since it was first established in 1987, the European Society for Vascular Surgery has been supporting first-class research and education and creating opportunities for dialogue between private and governmental entities involved in cardiovascular health.
The 2020 scientific programme featured a variety of session formats, including debates, Q&A sessions, expert discussions, interactive workshops, and symposia chaired by some of the world’s most well-known experts in the field of vascular surgery. The programme was later reworked into a 4-week educational stream that offered online access to scientific webinars, on-demand fast track sessions, workshops, and presentations.
