Communication in preparation for a congress can be extremely important, as the 28th European Congress of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, held in Madrid, 21 – 24 April 2018, showed. 13’000 of the world’s leading experts joined the most important congress in the field of infectious diseases.

Our team was responsible for the registration process and the exhibition management, as we are an expert in planning congresses for a large number of participants and exhibitors. Offering a high quality service to all 13’000 attendees while ensuring a smooth registration process presents a number of challenges. Furthermore, the exhibition had to be planned within a very short time.

To enable a problem-free registration of all participants, we provided several secretariat, self-print and new registration stations. Five registration experts and two IT managers gave their utmost during the congress on-site to ensure every single participant was happy.

To handle the high number of international stand builders, our team was onsite for a whole nine days, overseeing the build-up and dismantling. The dedication and know how of our staff made it possible to plan the exhibition within only five months and to create a unique congress experience for the participants.
