ECCMID 2018
Communication in preparation for a congress can be extremely important, as we learned from the 28th European Congress of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, held in Madrid in April 2018. Thirteen-thousand of the world’s leading experts gathered for the most important congress in the field of infectious diseases.

The Challenge
Creating A Unique Congress Experience for Thirteen Thousand Attendees: Our team was responsible for the registration process and exhibition management, as we are experts in planning congresses for a large number of participants and exhibitors. Offering the highest quality service to thirteen-thousand attendees while ensuring a speedy registration process presents a number of challenges. On top of this the exhibition had to be planned within a very short time.
How Congrex mastered it
To ensure registration was swift and problem-free for all participants we provided several staffed, self-print and new registration stations. Five registration experts and two IT managers gave their utmost during the congress on-site to ensure every question was answered and every participant was taken care of.
To handle the high number of trade-stand builders from all over the world, our team was on-site for nine days, overseeing construction and dismantling. The dedication and know-how of our staff made it possible to plan the exhibition in only five months and to make sure the congress was a rewarding experience for the participants.
What our Clients says
“Happy participants are the cornerstone of every conference. To handle a large congress with over 10,000 delegates, you need a PCO with a lot of experience and a highly motivated team. With Congrex Switzerland, we have found a reliable partner who serves our participants in a caring and efficient way.”
