AO Davos Courses 2020
The AO is harnessing digital technology to take its gold-standard educational offering to a larger audience with the introduction of a new approach to the AO Davos Courses 2020.
AO Davos is an educational event organised by the AO Foundation, an international association founded in Switzerland in 1958. With a global membership of more than 215,000 healthcare and medical professionals, the foundation’s goals are promoting continuous improvement in patient care where musculoskeletal trauma and disorders are concerned. The foundation’s activities have a strong educational component since they organise multiple training events, conferences and courses throughout the year. The annual AO Davos Course is one of their flagship events.
The 2020 AO Davos Courses took place between 3 and 6 December 2020 under the title “The future of medical education”. This edition went fully online for the first time ever. In this way, it was able to reach a larger audience all over the world.
The educational event was held alongside a virtual exhibition, where attendees were able to do a virtual tour of 12 digital exhibition booths.
The Congrex team offered all-around support for the organisation of this exhibition.
