Year’s End Message 2017 From Congrex Switzerland
Dear friends and colleagues,
As this year comes to a close, we are reminded of everything that Congrex Switzerland has been able to accomplish. We sincerely would like to thank our employees, clients, suppliers, and partners who have made 2017 another tremendous year for us.
What follows here is a list of just a few highlights from this year. It is by no means comprehensive, but more of a touting of just some of the many, many great things that have taken place and have helped propel us forward as a leading company in the conference, meetings and association business.
- Over 30 conferences were delivered to happy clients and participants. From Switzerland to France, Spain, India, Mexico and many other places, we have provided services all over the world. We were proud to welcome the Dutch Queen to the European Academy of Neurology (EAN) Conference and to achieve a record number of over 11’000 participants for the Annual Meeting for the European Committee of Treatment and Research in Multiple Sclerosis (ECTRIMS) in Paris.
- Several important long-term contracts were signed in 2017. The longest contract ever in Congrex Switzerland’s history was signed in May with the European Stroke Organisation (ESO), which had decided to re-elect us for another six years as Association Management Company until end of 2022.
After a successful delivery of the registration services for the almost 12’500 participants of ECCMID 2017, the European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases had decided to extend the partnership with Congrex Switzerland to the years 2018 to 2020. The European Association for the Study of the Liver (EASL) agreed to sign a three years contract for registration services for the International Liver Congress™ 2018 to 2020 with over 10’000 participants.
- We also signed important new contracts with global leading associations like the European Society of Cardiology (ESC), the European Respiratory Society (ERS), the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV) and a long-term contract extension with the European Committee for Treatment and Research in MS (ECTRIMS).

We are looking forward to the next season 2018 with high expectations and we will continue to maintain, and improve on, the professional, caring high service level to all our clients.
We would like to wish you and your families a joyous, peaceful and restful festive season and all the best for the New Year 2018.
