Press Release: Basel, August 28, 2019 – for immediate release

Congrex Switzerland has signed significant new contracts in a variety of business areas. The company has recently expanded its association management portfolio by thirty percent and has been appointment PCO or official accommodation agency for several global associations.

Congrex Switzerland is proud to announce the acquisition of several new clients this year:

Both the European Association of International Education (EAIE) and the European Association of Nephrology (ERA-EDTA) have appointed Congrex Switzerland as their official accommodation agency. The EAIE, with over six-thousand participants, has signed a three-year agreement with Congrex, starting in 2021 and the ERA-EDTA, with more than ten-thousand participants, has chosen Congrex for their main 2022 congress, which will take place in Paris.

The European League Against Rheumatism (EULAR) has entrusted Congrex Switzerland with the organisation of over one hundred events, with up to four-hundred participants each, over the next two years. The European Federation of National Associations of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (EFORT) has designated Congrex Switzerland as their Core PCO, beginning in 2020 with the organisation of their next major congress, which attracts over seven-thousand participants every year.

Exhibition services will be provided for the 2020 World Conservation Congress in Marseille, which will host over ten-thousand participants from more than one-hundred-and-seventy nations.

Further exciting projects have been secured in the area of association management. Congrex Switzerland has been tasked with the management of the following associations:

  • Swiss Society of Medical Oncology
  • Swiss Society of Haematology
  • Swiss Society of Radiology
