Responsibilities
Our sponsorship team oversees our exhibition and sponsorship planning services for medical conferences. We develop attractive sponsorship concepts for physical, virtual and hybrid conferences, acquire exhibitors and sponsors, negotiate partnership agreements with the companies and deal with all administrative and logistical tasks before, during and after the conference.
As the head of the sponsorship department, you are actively involved in the day-to-day business of all ongoing projects, you supervise the team members, and you take a leading role in optimizing our processes and IT systems. An important task is also to create new, innovative, commercially successful sponsoring models in line with the compliance policies. Another part of the job is to build and maintain strong relationships with potential and current sponsors, seeking to understand the needs of the companies and add value to the relationship.
Your profile
- Several years of relevant experience in sponsorship sales or a similar position
- Project management experience (advantageous in the congress, meeting or event industry)
- Negotiating skills in spoken and written English (German and/or French and other foreign languages an advantage)
- Hands-on mentality – we are an unbureaucratic and lean company. You are open-minded and willing to offer cross-departmental support
- Availability and capacity to work with activity peaks
- Willingness to travel for meetings, industry events and conferences
